Thomas Roth

Thomas Ed Roth, 70, of Kountze, passed away Friday, May 5, 2017 at his home. Funeral service was at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday, May 10) at the First Assembly of God Church of Kountze with burial following at William Hart Cemetery in Kountze under the direction of Lumberton Family Funeral Home in Lumberton. Born in Kountze, he lived most of his life in New Orleans before moving back to Kountze. He was a truck driver. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Lline Roth of Kountze; sons, Clarence “Buddy” Roth and wife Becky of Jasper and Thomas “Peanut” Ed Roth II and wife Candi of Kountze; sister, Dora Roth Gilmore of Batson; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Doris Williams

Funeral services for Doris Marie Williams, 87, of Kountze were at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 5, 2017 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee, with interment at 2:00 p.m. in Wilkerson Cemetery in Pine Grove. Visitation was from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Williams died Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Kountze Nursing Home. A native of Kirbyville, Doris was a longtime resident of Hardin County, and was a retired maintenance worker with Kirby Forest Industries. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Williams; parents, Harry and Lula Jones Hawthorne; sons, Casey Shaver, Jr., and Jerry Don Shaver; daughter, Barbara Bryan; and her sister, Cecil Barrow. Survivors include her daughters, Tammy Jo Reims of Lumberton and Judy Arnold of Warren; sister, Mary Jane Travis of Kirbyville; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. Doris will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Bryan Camacho

Bryan Ray Camacho, 28, of Beaumont, died Saturday, May 6, 2017. He was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 12 at Broussard’s with burial following at Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary in Silsbee. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, May 11 at the funeral home. Survivors include his mother, Nancy LeBlanc and husband David W. of Beaumont; father, Ray Camacho and wife Esther of North Carolina; daughter, Destiny Camacho of Buna; brother, Brandon Camacho and wife Emily Lauren of Beaumont; sister, Lauren Camacho of Beaumont; step-brother, Nelson LeBlanc of Houston; half-brother, Ramon Camacho Jr. of North Carolina; step-brother, Brian; and step-sister, Gabrielle; and grandmother, Ruth Camacho of Puerto Rico.

Bruce Carlson

Bruce Carlson, 80, of Lumberton, died Wednesday, May 3, 2017. He was born on October 25, 1936, in Nederland, to Cora Chapman Carlson and William Carlson. Bruce proudly served his country in the United States Army and later retired as an electrician and was a member of Local 479. Bruce was a loving and devoted husband and father. He loved and adored his eight grandchildren. Bruce served his Lord by serving others, always putting others before himself. He loved to make others smile and could always tell the best jokes, especially ones about “Boudreaux and Fontenot”, invoking his Cajun accent. Bruce was a Master Mason for over forty years and a member of Lumberton Masonic Lodge #1430 Ancient Free and Accepted Masons. Survivors include his children, Carol Mitchell and her husband, Charlie; Becky Soileau and her husband, Curtis; and Bruce Carlson and his wife, Kimberly, all of Lumberton; and Mary Ann Johnson and her husband, Wes, of Cypress; grandchildren, Curtis Soileau, Jr.

Winifred Vincin

Winifred Elaine Vincin, 97, of Silsbee passed away Friday, May 5, 2017 at Pine Arbor Health Care. She had lived in Baytown before moving to Silsbee 25 years ago and was a homemaker. Survivors include her companion of 25 years, Keith Cook of Silsbee; son, Miles Vincin of Missouri City, Texas; and two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. No service is scheduled at this time. Ettie Elizabeth Bell Garoutte, 77, of Nederland, passed away Thursday, May 4,2017 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. Funeral service was Monday, May 8 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial following in Baker Bell Cemetery in Fred. A native and former resident of Fred, she had lived in Nederland for over 33 years. Survivors include sons, Rick Foxworth and wife Sharon of Warren, Lester Foxworth of Shepherd, Kenneth Foxworth and wife Dawn of Wildwood and Paul Foxworth of Nederland; brother, George “Buddy” Bell and wife Rose of Fred; sister, Jeanette Rao of Alexander, Arkansas; and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

James Rudolph “Rudy” Antilley, 82, of Lumberton, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017. Funeral service was Monday, May 1 at the First Baptist Church of Loeb with burial following at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. He was a supervisor for Texaco and retired with 42 years service. For the past eight years, he was a volunteer at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. Survivors include his wife of over 32 years, Judy Antilley of Lumberton; children, Debbie Mendisabal and husband David Sr. of Lumberton, Jimmy Antilley and wife Debbie of Kountze, and Mark Antilley and wife Leslie of Beaumont; brother, Aubrey Antilley and wife Karen of Orlando, Florida; and four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren

Joe Ashcraft

Joe Edward Ashcraft, 76, of Silsbee, died Tuesday, April 25, 2017. Funeral service was Friday, April 28 at First Pentecostal Church in Silsbee with burial following at Morse Cemetery in Buna under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary in Silsbee. Born in Silsbee, he worked as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of Local #450 and was a United States Navy veteran. Survivors include daughters, Lanelle Rist and husband Rodney and Tammy Cravy, all of Silsbee; son, Jared Ashcraft and wife Delores of Milam; brother, Harvey Ashcraft and wife Kathy of Silsbee; and five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
