Bobby Hodge II

Bobby Wayne Hodge II, 46, of Lumberton, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018. He was born in Houston. A graveside service was held Friday, August 31 at Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary in Beaumont. Survivors include his father, Bobby Hodge I and wife Jo; son, Travis Hodge; daughter, Angela Hodge; brothers, Zachary Hodge, John Moody and Guy Wait; and sister, Misty Hodge.

Ellison Barrows

Ellison Wayne Barrows, 69, of Silsbee, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018 at his home. A memorial service will be Saturday, Sept. 8 at Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Silsbee. Born in DeRidder, Louisiana, he was a United States Navy veteran. Survivors include his sister, Donna Barrows of Silsbee.

Marlon Hall

Beloved husband, father, and papa, Marlon Thomas Hall, 66, of Kountze, died Monday, August 27, 2018. He was born on February 27, 1952 in Beaumont, to Ruby and Paul Hall. Marlon graduated in 1970 from French High School. Survivors include his wife, Rose Hall, five daughters, many grandchildren, and his sister. A gathering of Mr. Hall’s family and friends was from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Crestwood Baptist Church, 1150 US-69, Kountze. His funeral service was at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 31, 2018, at Crestwood Baptist Church with his interment following at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze. Lucille Driggers

Lucille A. Driggers, 89. of Lufkin, passed away Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018. Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, she had lived in Silsbee for 38 years before moving to Lufkin in 2015. She was an employee of Wa-Mart in Silsbee for over 20 years. She retired at the age of 83, after working in the Health and Beauty Department as a sales clerk. Survivors include her daughters, Cheryl Driggers of Lufkin and Kelli Mixon of McKinney;  and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Billy Coplen

Billy Jack Coplen, 81, of Silsbee, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. A longtime resident of Silsbee, he was an automotive mechanic and had worked over 20 years for Silsbee Ford and retired from Silsbee Motor Company. He was a United States Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Monema Sharon Coplen of Silsbee; daughters, Sharon Elaine Farrell and husband Lynn of Broaddus and Mona Irene Rawls and husband James of Silsbee; son, William Andy Coplen and wife Carrie of Vidor; brothers, Troy Coplen of Colmesneil and Bobby Coplen of Wyoming; sister, Deloris Cox of Lufkin; and 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Feby Mozell Morgan, age 85, of Silsbee, Texas, passed away Monday, August 27, 2018. Mrs. Morgan was born April 10, 1933 in Houston County, Texas and had lived in Hardin County, Texas approximately 60 years. She was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. She and her husband were longtime business owners in Silsbee, having operated a real estate and insurance business, along with a bakery and flower shop. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Morgan; her parents, Cash Hammons and Suzie Cartwright Hammons; and a sister, Jeanette Helton.

Paul Henry Tate, 56, of Lumberton, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018. Born in Lawton, Oklahoma, he was a woodworker by trade and was owner of a custom cabinetry business.
