Doris Ann Hancock

Doris Ann Hancock, 76, of Silsbee, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017. She was born on November 9, 1941 in Orange to Doris Ann Allen Marshall and Readous Marshall. Survivors include her children, Elizabeth Gilley of Evadale, Clayton Authement and wife Joyce and Helen Williams and husband Frankie, all of Silsbee, Terry Hancock and wife Pam of Mississippi and Craig Carlos of Silsbee; 13 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Guy Marshall. Her committal was handled by Broussard’s Crematorium in Beaumont.

Charles Robert Anderson, 64, of Kountze, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017. A graveside service was Friday, December 15 at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary, also in Kountze. Born in Artesia, New Mexico, he was a retired pipefitter and welder. Survivor include his wife of 40 years, Phyllis Anderson; children, Jennifer Curry and husband Steve of Vidor, John Robert Anderson and wife Kelby of Kountze and Jessica Celine Anderson of Lumberton; mother, Billie Anderson of Kountze; brothers, Tim Anderson of Kountze and Andy Anderson of Louisiana; sisters, Reba Jordan and husband Mike and Brenda Higgins and husband Joe, all of Longview and Tori Fulgam and husband Otis of Kountze; and four grandchildren

Thomas Lynwood Grant, 78, of Lumberton, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017. A graveside service was Tuesday, December 19 at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze under the direction of Lumberton Family Funeral Home. Born in Beaumont, he was employed with Gulf States for over 30 years. He was a United States Navy veteran. Survivors include son, Wade Grant and wife Susan of Arizona; daughter, Andrea Carruth and husband Darren of Lumberton; adopted daughter, Treasure Francis and husband Cazzy of Nederland; and ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Katherine Ann “Kathy” Vaughn

Katherine Ann “Kathy” Vaughn Seaman, 66, of Kountze, died Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at her home. She was born in Beaumont. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 23 at Gateway Church in Kountze. Cremation was under the direction of Lumberton Family Funeral Home in Lumberton. Survivors include her sons, William Seaman and wife Leanna and Jason Seaman and wife Shy, all of Kountze; mother, Nona Burnett Vaughn of Silsbee; father, Hollis Vaughn and wife Yvonne of Marshall; sisters, Lynne Marshall and husband Garry and Nita Vaughn Simmons, all of Silsbee; brother, Terry Vaughn and wife Nanette Vaughn of Silsbee; and six grandchildren.

Marilynn Parker-Terry

Marilynn Parker-Terry, a long-time resident of Evadale, Texas passed away Friday, December 15, 2017. Marilynn was born in 1941 in North-East Pennsylvania and resided in Evadale, Texas for the majority of her lifetime. Marilynn graduated from Buna High School in 1959, where she was known as “Our Yankee”. She was a long-time member of Central Baptist Church in Evadale, Texas serving as a Sunday school teacher for many years. Marilynn enjoyed cooking for her family, sewing, and especially playing with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Hugh Delane Terry and children: Kay Olds and Mike, Martin Terry and Mattlyn, and Bruce Terry. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Candice, Meagan, Chase, Laikyn, Kamri, and Brock, along with twelve great grandchildren: Jaden, Rylan, Nevon, Allie, Tynlee, Wrangler, Kai, Waylen, Harper, Avery, Macy and Quinton. Marilynn is survived by two sisters, Ellen Peters of South Dakota and Susan Black of Evadale.

Elaine Rials, 92, of Kountze, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 at Pine Arbor Health Care in Silsbee. Funeral service was Thursday, December 14 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Beaumont with burial following at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary in Beaumont. Born in Cascade, Wisconsin, she was a United States Navy veteran having served as a Lieutenant Colonel. Survivors include son, Jerry Rials of Conroe; daughter, Judi Bailey of Silsbee; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Born in Beaumont, he was employed with Ritter Lumber Company in Beaumont. Survivor include his mother and step-dad, Denise Fasulo Ducote and Michael of Bridge City; brother, Blaine Fasulo and wife Heather of Port Neches; step-sister, Trudi Belanger of Mauriceville; stepbrothers, James Ducote and Rhys Ducote, both of Biloxi, Mississippi; fiancee, Laura McIntyre of Lumberton; and step-son, Jacob Harrington.

Marcus Fregia

Marcus Wayne Fregia, U.S. Army Retired, passed away December 2, 2017 at the age of 46, of a heart attack at Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital. Cremation was at SoCal Cremation in Van Nuys, California. Memorial plans will be announced at a later date. Marcus served in DeSert Storm and DeSert Shield Campaigns and on the Gaza Strip with Special Forces Unit. Upon being discharged, he signed up to serve one year for the country of Israel. Survivors include his companion, Serenella Tonini of Hollywood; father, Joe Wayne Fregia and his wife Jane of Batson; sister, Carmen West; and his families of Bill and Bridgett Wright, Tiffanie and Keith Price, Caleb and Charity Wright, Cameron Fregia, Wil Fregia, Rockey Fregia, Lora Ellis, Wilson Fregia and Michael Fregia.
