Thomas “Tommy” Henry Dean, 89, of Silsbee, died Sunday, January 29, 2017, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on January 15, 1928, in Emilee, to Bertie Ogden and Bergen Dean. Tommy was a maintenance supervisor for Texaco Chemical in Port Neches. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Dean; children, Timothy Ray Dean of Houston and Terri Dean Y’Barbo of Silsbee; three grandchildren;

He Only Takes The Best God saw she was getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around her and whispered “Come and go with me”. With tear-filled eyes we watched her suffer and slowly fade away. Although we love her deeply, we could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard-working hands put to rest.
