Donnie Lueckemeyer

Donnie Kay Janezak Lueckemeyer, 68, of Lumberton, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Funeral service was Sunday, October 15 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial following in R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery in Silsbee. Born in Bellville, she was a longtime resident of Lumberton and was a homemaker. Survivors include his son, Alex Lueckemeyer of Lumberton; daughters, Janice Jordan, Laura Lueckemeyer and Gail Rumsey and husband John, all of Lumberton; brothers, Willard Janczak of Sealy and Harold Janczak of Dayton; sisters, Dorothy Canaby of Corpus, Judy Smith of New Waverly, Carolyn Wright and Joy Woods, both of Houston, Lavern Rosniak of Wallis and Gracie Streetman of Conroe; and 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Etta Will

Etta Marie Will, 83, of Lumberton, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. Funeral service was Friday, October 13 at Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Lumberton with burial following at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary in Silsbee. She was retired from Lumberton Independent School District. Survivors include her husband, Ted Will; children, Becky O’Quinn and husband Buddy, David Will and wife Susan, Mike Will and wife Liz, and Laura Pruitt and husband Wes, all of Lumberton; sister, Betty Cook and husband Glenn of Lumberton; and ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren

Randall “Randy” Bordelon, 58, of Lumberton, died Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. Funeral service was Saturday, October 14 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Beaumont with burial following at Memory Gardens in Nederland. Born in Beaumont, he was a versatile craftsman. Survivors include his wife, Catherine Raynine Bordelon; daughters, Brandi Campbell and husband Eddie and Brittani Bordelon, all of Lumberton; sons, Christopher Ray Bordelon of Lumberton and William Dean White of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; brother, Richard “Rick” Bordelon and wife Shirley of Orange; sister, Karyn Rainwater and husband Glenn of Vidor; and five grandchildren.

Jack Curtis Slaughter, 74, of Silsbee, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017. Born in Karnack, he was a United States Army veteran and retired welder. Survivors include his daughter, Angela Slaughter of Silsbee; sister, Eva Ruth Craig of Marshall; and three grandchildren. Foerst Mark Allen, 91, of Silsbee, died Sunday, October 15, 2017. He was born on April 9, 1926, in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, to Lorene Mae Hall Allen and Ira Foerst Allen. Mr. Allen proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corp during World War II and later retired as finishing, shipping, and converting manager at Temple-Eastex Pulp and Paper Company.

Arnold Tevis

Arnold “Arnie” Tevis, 58, of Lumberton, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017. Funeral service was Tuesday, October 10 at North End Baptist Church in Beaumont with burial following at Magnolia Hill Cemetery in Segno under the direction of Lumberton Family Funeral Home in Lumberton. He began his career in law enforcement at Marshall Police Department, he was a State Trooper for 15 years before retiring in December 2013. He was currently employed with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department as Courthouse Security. Survivors include his wife, Jana; daughters, Lauren Tevis of Houston and Leslie Smith and husband Andrew of Lumberton; mother, Ernestine Tevis; brother, Kenneth Tevis; sister, Claire Tevis; and one grandchild.

Margaret B. Longenberger, 86, of Silsbee passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Funeral service was Monday, October 9 at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Silsbee with burial following in Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home, also in Silsbee. Born in Ocala, Florida and a longtime resident of Silsbee, she worked in retail sales before retiring. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Donald Longenberger of Silsbee; son, Michael Longenberger; daughters, Donna Dewherst of Florida, Marlene Lacy and Rebecca Montana, both of Silsbee, Karyn Sanderson and Michelle Longenberger, both of Centerville, Georgia and Melissa Hays of Lubbock; and 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
