The Lumberton ISD Board of Trustees meet the first Thursday after the first Monday each month at 7 p.m. at the Administration Building, 121 South Main Street.
The Silsbee ISD Board of Trustees meet at 7 p.m. the second Tuesday each month in the Administration Office, 415 FM 327W.
The Evadale ISD Board of Trustees meet at 7 p.m. the third Monday each month in the District’s Administration Building on Highway 105 South. Special meetings may be called when necessary.
The Kountze ISD Board of Trustees meet at 6 p.m. the second Monday of each month in the Kountze Intermediate School Library, 150 Vaughn Street.
The Hardin-Jefferson ISD Board fo Trustess meet at 7 p.m. on the third Monday of each month in the Administration Building, 520 W.
Herring Street in Sour Lake.
City Councils
The Lumberton City Council meets at 7 p.m. the second and fourth Monday each month in the City Hall Chambers.
The Silsbee City Council meets at 6 p.m. the third Monday each month in the Council Chambers at City Hall,1220 Hwy 327 East.
The Kountze City Council meets the third Thursday each month at 4:00 p.m. at City Hall, 1025 North Pine.
The Sour Lake City Council meets at 7 p.m. the third Tuesday of each month at the City Hall of Sour Lake, 625 Hwy 105 West.
Commissioners Court
The Hardin County Commissioners Court will meet the second and fourth Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the County Courthouse.
4-H

West Hardin 4-H Club-2nd Sunday of the Month at 3:00 p.m.. at the Batson Community Center at 9153 Main St, Batson, TX 77519-The next meeting will be on September 12th.
ESD
The Hardin County Emergency District No. 6 Board of Directors hold its regular monthly meetings at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month.
MUD
The Lumberton Municipal Utility District board of directors meet the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the LMUD office at 625 FM 421.
Civic Clubs
The Hardin County Rotary Club meets on Thursday weekly at 8 a.m. at the Lumberton Fire Station, 228 Country Lane Drive, in Lumberton. Visitors are welcomed to meetings that begin with breakfast provided.
The Silsbee Woman’s Club meets the second Thursday each month at 11 a.m. at the Silsbee Community Center.
Miscellanous
The Hardin County Strong Executive Board will meet a 2 p.m. in the Commissioners Courtroom in the Hardin County Courthouse.
The board meets the second Tuesday each month.
Every fourth Thursday of the month, senior citizens can go to the YYAFA Building in Silsbee to sign up for food. Individuals must be age 60 and older with proof of income. For more information, call Arthur Smith at 409-273-1702 or 409-617-2093.
The Hardin County Genealogical Society meets every second Saturday of the month at 10 a.m. at in its library at 220 W. Main Street (next to Kirby-Hill House), and hosts quarterly presentations on topics of local or historical interest. The library is open on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 12 noon for genealogy research.

The First Presbyterian Church of Silsbee, located at 855 Hwy 96 S (across from Sonic) will serve free lunchs on Fridays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until food runs out, whichever comes first. Inside dining or takeout.
Music
The County Seat Music Hall will have live music the third Saturday of each month. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Shows start at 6:30 p.m.
Hardin County Genealogy Society hosts this show free of charge. Join us for family-filled evening at 125 West Brown Street in Kountze.
