Hardin County— This Halloween holiday, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), and the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) is teaming up with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service’s Watch UR BAC program to spread awareness on the fentanyl epidemic spreading across our state.

SES PTO Seeking Sponsors for Miss Hardin County Pageant The Silsbee Elementary School PTO has formed the Miss hardin County Pageant. Funds raised from this event will not only support SES PTO, but will be used for activities for SES students and staff. Also, funds will go toward establishing scholarships for participants.

BEAUMONT – CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth, St. Mary Mid-County, and Jasper Memorial Hospital are improving treatment for stroke patients with the success of the CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Stroke Program and their use of technology. The program offers the most current approach to treating stroke patients and meets the highest standards of safety goals and standards.

LUMBERTON – Journey Community Church hosted its Show and Shine car show on Saturday, September 17. The church, which is located at 1534 S Main Street holds the event on the third Saturday each month.
