Armed security officer training will be offered

CHRISTUS - Southeast Texas Health System will hold a free Level III Armed Security Officer Training Program for those interested in pursuing a security career in a health care setting. This is the only Level III training program offered in the region.

Hardin County author to speak at music hall

Former Silsbee baseball players in World Series

Two former Silbee Tigers baseball players have been playing in two separate college World Series games within the last few days. They are Jackson Hardy, who has been playing with the Angelo State University Rams for the past five years, and Kanon Sundgren, who plays for Weatherford College, a junior college west of Fort Worth.

Truck Crashed

This empty log truck crashed through an equipment shed of the North Hardin Water Supply following an accident Monday afternoon at the intersection of Hwy 92 and Post Plant Road north of Silsbee.
