Reception kicks off Art Fest

More than 60 students attended a reception sponsored by PVAC (Performing and Visual Arts Council) Saturday, April 1, at the Silsbee Public Library. The reception kicks off Art Fest 2023, where art work from Silsbee students and First Baptist Academy will be on display for the public at the library.

Silsbee burglary suspect arrested in Tyler County

A 25-year-old Silsbee man is in the Tyler County Jail in Woodville after being chased down by law enforcement officers last Thursday. He is one of four people suspected in the burglaries of two Silsbee businesses on April 1.
