NWS issues hard freeze warning

The National Weather Service has issued a hard freeze warning for all of Southeast Texas including Hardin County.

The NWS has also issued a wind advisory that is expected to be lifted by 6 p.m. today.

The hard freeze warning will be in effect from 10 p.m. this evening until 8 a.m. on Friday morning.

Temperatures are expected to fall after sunset from the result of a high ridge pressure system settling over the area.

The NWS is expecting temperatures to fall in between 32 and 26 degrees overnight.
