Silsbee prepped for Livingston

By Daniel Elizondo

The Silsbee Tigers (2-0) are prepared to extend its win streak against 5A foe Livingston tonight in what is supposed to be its first home game.

New track construction and weather forced the school to move the game to Provost-Umphrey Stadium at Lamar University in Beaumont tonight with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff time.

Season ticket holders of Silsbee games will be allowed to enter tonight when their ticket is presented.

The school held its first pep rally of the season despite having to travel once again.

Silsbee upended Coldspring-Oakhurst 60-22 and Livingston is coming off of a 32-15 win over Cleveland.

The game being moved didn’t seem to phase the student body of Silsbee, hyped for what they hope is another win tonight.
