AFter a two-year hiatus due to COVID pandemic conditions, the popular homecoming tradition known as Tiger Prowl returns to the Homecoming 2022 lineup of activities. Tiger Prowl, organized by Silsbee downtown Revitalization, kicks off immediately after the homecoming parade in downtown Silsbee. Streets will be closed around th epublic library to accommodate scores of vendors offering food, soft drinks, shaved ice, clothing, jewelry, art, and other merchandise. Activities include bounce house for children as well as a mechanical bull for adults. Various notable citizens will be in the dunking booth challenging everyone to make them fall into the water.
Silsbee graduating classes of 1961, 1962, 1965, 1966, 1977, 1982, and 1984 have reserved space at Tiger Prowl where classmates other friends can gather in the festival atmosphere.
