Silsbee- After being cancelled for a couple of years, Tiger Prowl was back this year in downtown Silsbee following the Homecoming Parade on Saturday, September 3.

Current Tigers, former Tigers and soon-to-be Tigers joined together to enjoy the day. There were food vendors along with ice cream and sno cone trucks and other snack items like kettle corn. In addition, there were different kinds of craft items for sale, such as homemade crocheted items, baby clothes, jewelry cups and candles. Finally, there was a bounce house, mechanical bull and video game truck to provide entertainment.

Several organizations set up booths to raise funds, such as the Boy Scouts, Operation Graduation, and the Silsbee Cheerleaders.

Also, the Silsbee Education Foundation was present to educate attendees about its mission to suport education in Silsbee and sell Kirby knives.

As people visited various booths, they also were able to talk to others they may not have seen in some time. Some classes from prior years set up a tent so they could gather together. Ultimately, it was a time to celebrate being a Tiger.

Tiger Prowl took place in the parking lot of the Silsbee Public Library and surrounding streets that were blocked off for the event.
