William Henry Chambless, 76, of Kountze, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022. He was born in Kountze to Necil Simpson Chambless and Alfred Chambless.

Funeral service was Friday, September 23 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Silsbee with burial following at Daniels Cemetery in Kountze.

He was a 1964 graduate of Kountze High School and was a United States Navy Vietnam Era veteran. He retired from Transit Mix.

Survivors include his daughters, Tami Eddins and husband Allen of Silsbee and Misti Woodson and husband Michael of Lumberton; siblings, Marian Kellum, JoAnn Champagne, and Paul Chambless, all of Kountze; and five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
