Silsbee defense slows LC-Min district opener

The Silsbee Tigers entered the busy week of Homecoming without flinching one eye, and the work in progress of the team seemed to come together on Friday with Little Cypress-Mauriceville entering as the first Dist. 10-4A-DI foe of the season. Defense was the name of the game on Friday, working on all cylinders in big plays to thwart LC-M 35-20 at Tiger Stadium. “We are getting better every day,” Head Coach Randy Smith said.
