Officers nab two in meth bust

During an investigation, working on fresh information, the Silsbee Police Department arrested two from Woodville during a huge drug bust of methamphetamine on Thursday, Aug. 10.

The suspects were believed to be located at the Super Walmart located at Highway 327 and U.S. 96 Bypass around noon

Assistant Chief Shawn Blackwell and Corporal Brandon Rogers spotted a suspicious person talking on a phone and resembling the information they had received. The suspect crawled into the passenger seat of a 2001 BMW sedan as the officers pulled up behind the vehicle.
