Two Silsbee residents arrested with drug package

BEAUMONT — Jefferson County Sheriff's Office deputies have arrested two Silsbee residents on charges of possession of a controlled substance.

JCSO investigators responded to information on a package containing the opioid Fentanyl had been shipped to an address on Washington Boulevard on Jan. 29.

When a suspect arrived at the Beaumont Post Office to pick up the package of Fentanyl, JCSO investigators arrested two suspects in a truck, Captain Crystal Holmes said in a release.
