A Silsbee drug sting operation at the Pine Arbor nursing facility led to the arrest of its activities director on Thursday.

Officials said that Stacey Rae Moore, 41, was suspected of selling prescription drugs in the parking lot of the nursing facility.

According to a report, on two separate occasions within the last 10 days, officials allege that Moore sold the prescription drug adderall to another person.

On Thursday, investigators recorded Moore selling the drugs while at work, in the parking lot of the facility, officials said.

Silsbee police took Moore into custody after the transaction was completed, and charged with one count of delivery of a controlled substance, a second degree felony.

Officials said that Moore supplied the illegal drugs on her own, and were not from the inventory of the nursing home.

Silsbee Police Chief Mark Davis said that Pine Arbor is not implicated in the incident and that the facility’s administrator has cooperated with authorities.

Moore is from Vidor and was released from jail after posting a $25,000 bond.
