Lynda Mott, 80, of Spurger, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 16 at First Baptist Church in Spurger under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville. Visitation will begin at 12 noon at the church.
Born in Joinerville, she was a former resident of Nederland and had lived in Spurger the past 47 years. She was a retired Administrative Assistant for the Woodville Independent School District.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Kozum Mott of Spurger; children, Mike Carbaugh and wife Monica of Kountze, Dana Hill and husband Thad of Bridge City and Devin Carbaugh of Los Angeles, California; stepsons, Tommy Crosby and wife Carolyn of Woodville and Travis Mott of Glen Rose; stepdaughters, Kay D’Arcy of Woodville and Beth Edmond and husband Vince of Euless; brother, Jimmie Sheffield and wife Annette of North Little Rock, Arkansas; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
