Roderick Lionell Hawkins Sr., 68, of Kountze, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at home following a brief but valiant struggle against cancer.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 20 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Silsbee with burial following at Hardin Memorial Park in Silsbee. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Born in Beaumont, he was a United States Navy veteran and worked 20 years at GulfCo, and retired from PumpTex.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Mimi Hawkins; children, Beaux Hawkins of Dallas, Erik Hawkins and Jim Orr, both of Lumberton and Jesse Orr of Kountze; siblings, John Hawkins and wife Doris of Virginia, and Barbara Barbie of Tyler; and three grandchildren.
