The Evadale Rebels defeated the Sabine Pass Sharks 50-0 before a homecoming crowd Friday night in Evadale. Rebel Quarterback Ethan Buford had a great night, completing 14 of 22 passes and scoring two touchdowns himself in the game.

By DAN EAKIN editor@silsbeebee.com The Kountze Lions roared to a 47-0 victory over the Trinity Tigers before a packed homecoming crowd Friday night in Kountze, scoring their third victory of the season and their first district win.

The Kountze Lady Lions saw their record fall to 16-19 last week when they lost games to Buna in straight sets and to Hardin by a 3-1 score. The scores in the Buna game which Kountze lost were 19-25, 14--25 and 20-25.

Evadale Lady Rebels defeated Deweyville 3-2 with scores of 22-25, 25-15, 25-17, 24-26, and 16-14. Blocks were led by Whitley Carter with 20.

The Lumberton Raiders got off to a good start in District action last Friday night with a 41-7 victory over the Spendora Wildcats in Spendora. The Wildcats got on the scoreboard first and their defense kept the Raiders scoreless in the first quarter.

The Evadale Lady Rebels defeated Sabine Pass Tuesday night, Sept. 26,3-0 with scores of 2515, 25-21 and 25-15.

The Silsbee Tigers ran their record to 6-0 with a 64-13 victory over Hardin- Jefferson on Friday. The loss dropped the Hawks to 0-5 this year.

The Silsbee JV and freshman teams combined last week to play Hardin-Jefferson. The Tigers pulled off a 21-14 victory.

The Silsbee volleyball team dropped a match in straight sets to LCM on Friday. The loss by games of 25-19.
