The Evadale Rebels looked good in the first quarter of the game in Kountze last Friday night, but the Lions picked up speed in the second quarter and went on to win 70-20. Lion Trace Jordan started off the game by thrilling the crowd with a 50 yard run on the first play of the game.

The Silsbee Tigers travelled to Huffman Hargrave and picked up their 15th win in the past 16 games on Friday by a score of 41-14. The Tigers got the opening kick which Jaden Miller returned to the Silsbee 47 and then Silsbee ended only four plays to move the ball into the end zone.

The Silsbee Lady Tigers concluded the pre district portion of their schedule on Friday when they lost to Hamshire-Fannett in five games. The loss dropped their overall record to 11-12 this season.
