In August 2022, the Lumberton Raiders went to Hamshire-Fannett and defeated the Longhorns by a score of 38-31. Last Friday night, on August 25, 2023, the Longhorns got even by coming to Lumberton and defeating the Raiders by a score of 35-20.

The Kountze Lions broke their losing streak Friday by defeating Hull-Daisetta by a 49-6 score. The win marked a huge turnaround for the Lions squad that did not win a single game last year.

The Silsbee Tigers scrimmaged Orangefield on Thursday evening. The scrimmage was laid out with each team having ten plays to run their first team offense against the opponents first team defense then the action changed with each team running their second team offense against the others second team defense.

The Silsbee Lady Tigers hosted a 16 team volleyball tournament last week and the Lady Tigers placed fourth in the tournament. The Lady Tigers went 3-0 during the first day of action.
