The Silsbee Tigers ran their record on the diamonds to 17-8-1 Friday when Taylor Wise pitched a perfect game against the West Orange Stark Mustangs. The Tigers won the game via the ten run rule in five innings.

The Lumberton Raiders split a pair of games against Bridge City in a key match-up that advanced the Raiders district record to 7-3 and almost assured them of a spot in the playoffs. The Raiders claimed a 11-1 victory over Bridge City on Tuesday and then suffered a 8-1 defeat on Friday.

Taylor Wise pitched a perfect game for the Silsbee Tigers in a 10-0 victory over West Orange Stark last Friday. A perfect game occurs when a pitcher does not allow an opponent to get on base via hit, walk, error or any other play.

The Silsbee Lady Tigers split a pair of games with Jasper and West Orange-Stark last week. The Lady Tigers now have a record of 10-162 and they have one game remaining against LC-M on Friday. The game will be played at Silsbee High School .

The Lumberton Lady Raiders pounded out 15 hits on Monday as they worked their way to a 11-2 victory over Silsbee. The key to the Raiders offense was a four RBI day for Jaclyn Sherman of Lumberton.

The Silsbee Tigers defeated Jasper by a 6-2 score on Tuesday. The Tigers game scheduled for Thursday was postponed until Monday.

The Lumberton Boys Soccer team advanced to the state tournament with a 2-1 win over Calhoun in the Regional Tournament on Friday and a 3-0 win over El Campo in the Regional Championship game on Saturday.
