VIDOR — The Lumberton Lady Raiders, who placed five runners in the top 15, ran away with the District 22-4A team title at the championship meet at Clairborne Park West on Oct. 29.
SOUR LAKE — In the battle for sole possession of second place in District 11-4A Division 2, the Silsbee Tigers rolled up more than 400 yards of offense for a 56-21 win over the Hardin-Jefferson Hawks on Oct. 30.

MEMPHIS – Kountze High School varsity cheerleaders Leigh Eppes, Sarah Griffin, Grace Ramsey, Abbygail Smart, Alleigh Wade, Jacy Lognion, Alexxis Roth and Grace Hardin will travel to the Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, Fla., from Nov. 22-25, with high school cheerleaders and dancers from across the country to represent the camp brands of Varsity Spirit in the Varsity Spirit Spectacular.
Two teams will be in bi-district action on Thursday, Oct. 29, as the UIL playoffs begin.
LITTLE CYPRESS – The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears downed the Silsbee Lady Tigers 25-10, 25-19, 25-19 in District 22- 4A volleyball action at LC-M High School on Oct. 20.
Dr. Doyce Cartrett Jr. and John Brown qualified for a national fishing tournament at a qualifying Fishers of Mens’ 2020 Berkley Team Series District 7 Championships on Lake Conroe on Oct. 17.
VIDOR — The Lumberton girls cross county team took first place and the boy finished third overall at the 32nd annual Bridge City Cardinal Classic on Oct. 22 at Claiborne Park.
