Anahuac- The Silsbee Boy’s Cross Country team took first place at the Anahuac meet on Saturday, September 18. The team had 59 points with a cumulative time of 1:34:43.8 and an average time of 18:56.7 Medalists were Cody Rodriguez in third and Marc Guttierez in fourth.

Tigers Win Against Bulldogs

The Silsbee Tigers travelled to Lamar University to play one of their old rivals, the Nederland Bulldogs, on Friday, and the Tigers came away with a 24-16 victory. The win was the first for Silsbee against Silsbee, since 2019 and upped theTigers overall record to 3-0.

Raiders breeze past dragons

Lumberton- The Raiders blew past the Nacogdoches Dragons this past Friday with a score of 52-6. Nacogdoches started the game in possession of the ball, but that did not last long.

Evadale 2-4 in YMBL Tournament

Beaumont- Evadale travelled to Beaumont to play in the YMBL Volleyball Tournament and went 2-4. They only won one match each day of the tournament.

Kountze Loses to Brazos

Kountze- In the second game of the season, which happened to be Homecoming, the Kountze Lions remained scoreless at the end of the game with Wallis Brazos winning 33-0. The major playmakers for the Cougars were Bryson Bennett, Rafael Almaraz and Jarvse Dickerson.
