Davey Smith

Davey Eugene Smith, 76, of Kountze, Texas passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024. He was born in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Gloria Pinell Smith and Claude Dawson Smith Sr. He was a United States Army Vietnam War veteran. He was a member of the Jefferson County Master Gardeners.

Survivors include his daughter, Kelsey Smith Swearingen and husband Christopher of Kountze; brother, Robbie Smith of Arkansas; and one grandchild.

Cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’ Mortuary in Silsbee. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
