W.J. Burrell

W.J. Burrell, 96, of Evadale, Texas passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024. He was born in Evadale to the late Evie Lester Burrell and Walter Burrell. He was a United States Navy World War II veteran.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 27 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Silsbee with burial following at Morse Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Bessie Lee Burrell; son, Keith Wade Burrell; grandson, Jeffrey Lynn Franks; and sisters, Hazel Anderson, Elaine Reeves, and Maureen Brown.

Survivors include his daughter, Yolanda Franks of Kountze; and sister, Faye Davis of Austin.
