A month of fun with nature and reading has been celebrated in June at Kountze Public Library. On June 20, Village Creek’s Alex Stamatis with Texas Parks and Wildlife shared Skins and Skulls. Katie Pace, Hardin County’s Texas Agri-Life Agent, helped children explore animal tracks. Molly Harris read a nature story. The Champion readers for the week were Bowen Smith and LJ Ferguson.
