Celebrating Christmas at Lumberton City Park

Although there was a light rain, several hundred people came to Lumberton City Park last Friday night to celebrate the beginning of the Christmas season.The event under the pavilion included a flag ceremony by Troop 181, singing of Christmas songs by primary school students, the lighting of the large Christmas tree, hayrides and train rides outside the pavilion, numerous other activities and the enjoyment of a large variety of foods by vendors at the park.
