The Silsbee Country Club has new ownership and is now known as Champions Ranch. The course has been undergoing a lot of renovations and improvements. This week Champions Ranch will be hosting the Fathers Day MGA tournament. MGA used to stand for Men’s Golf Association but now it stands for Members Golf Association. Part of the money raised will be donated to the Silsbee Christian Care Center and part will be donated St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Photo by Danny Reneau
The 55th Annual Silsbee Invitational Tournament will be held Thursday, June 15, through Sunday, June 18.
The event which is annually held on Fathers Day weekend will honor the memory of Joe James, Ronnie Collins, Sam Workman, Judge Robert Ward, Jane Kelley and Sherry Holt.
Proceeds from the event will go to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the Silsbee Christian Care Center.
