Former Hardin County resident is head of large ministry in Africa

Sherrie Bumstead grew up in Hardin County. She attended school in Lumberton through the eleventh grade and then graduated from West Hardin High School in 1980. After graduating from Tennessee Temple University with a degree in missionary health and getting a master’s degree from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, she eventually became the founder and director of Bethany World…
