On Oct. 11, the Hardin County Commissioners Court met in regular session and voted to continue the burn ban that went into effect on Oct. 6.
The burn ban was issued due to current drought, dry fuels and weather conditions in Hardin County according to the the Declaration of Disaster and Order Restricting Outdoor Burning proclaimed by Hardin County Judge Wayne McDaniel on Oct. 6.
