Home destroyed in early morning fire

An early morning fire destroyed a home on Diana Street in Lumberton. The fire totally destroyed the home but fireman Jeff McNeil reported that the fire alarms in the home worked the way they were planned and they alerted the two people in the home that the fire was in progress.
