The Kountze City Council will meet in regular session at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, and at that time is expected to take action on some matters that have been up in the air for several weeks.
Investigations or mediations have been going on for several weeks now after the Kountze city administrator had been put on paid administrative leave and the city secretary was dismissed.
