Lightning causes fire (extensive) damage

Silsbee Firemen were called to the home of Lanny and Ann Brown at 104 Leola in Hendrix Place at approximately 1:45 a.m. Saturday morning. The roof of the house was hit by lightening and when the fire alarm went off, the home began to fill with smoke. The family was alerted and called the fire department.
