It all started with a Facebook post. In 2020, Laurah Riesen made a post about how much she would like a mural in Silsbee. We here at sthe Southeast Texas Arts Council (SETAC) thought that was a grand idea, and it just so happened to dovetail neatly with our desire to expand our mural program - at the time active only in Beaumont, Texas (see Off Ramp Fall/Winter 2020) - into another city.
