Proposed U.S. 69 relief route discussed at TxDOT meeting

  • Hardin County 4-H members completed at the Cleveland Livestock Judging Competition on April 5th. Kyleigh Swearingen won Junior High Point Individual, and Brooke Brinkley won 10th place Junior High Point Individual. The junior competing team which consisted of Kyleigh Swearingen, Brooke Brinkley and Halston Pittman placed 4th Overall.

The Texas Department of Transportation (Tx-DOT) held a meeting Tuesday night, April 2, at the Kountze High School gym to hear in-person options proposed for the construction of a US 69 Lumberton and Kountze Relief Route.
