Shooting in Silsbee

Silsbee Police received a call in reference to a report of gun shots in the 400 block of Kirby Street, yesterday at 1:57 a.m.

According to Police Chief Sean Blackwell, circumstances at the scene indicate that the shooting took place from the roadway. Multiple rounds were fired into a residence located within the mentioned block of Kirby Street.

Two persons inside the residence were struck by gunfire. One was a 22 yearold male from Silsbee The other was a 19 year-old male from Orange.
