Silsbee Council votes 4-1 to lease old city building

The Silsbee City Council met in regular session Monday night and voted 4-1 to lease the city building at 590 N. Sixth Street to an organization which would be operated by a local pastor. The vote came after the matter had been a topic at the previous regular city proposal. The building had been previously used for Public Works and for the Economic Development Corporation (EDC).
