  • Silsbee firefighters fought this huge grass fire on Hwy 92 a few miles north of Silsbee Tuesday afternoon.The cause of the fire was not immediately determined. Hardin County now has an burn ban in effect at least until the first of the month.Anyone burning trash or debris outside could be subject to a fine. Silsbee Fire Chief Robin Jones said they received several calls of people burning outdoors last week. So far, only warnings have been issued but fines will be considered in the future. Courtesy Photo
