Two new members of the Kountze City Council are expected to be administered oaths of office when the council meets in regular session at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 18.
Jim Shirey, who received 62 votes in the May 6 election, and Barbara Greer, who ran unopposed and received 69 votes, will be sworn in and seated.
The oaths will be administered following a canvass of the votes.
