James Richardson

James “Jimmy Ray” Richardson Sr., 82, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022. He was born in McAllen to Orville Richardson and Opal Deaton Richardson. He was a United States Navy veteran having served on the U.S.S. Franklin D. Roosevelt between 1961 and 1967 and achieved the rank of Petty Officer, 3rd class.

Funeral service was Wednesday, September 7 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial following at Allison Cemetery in Warren.

Survivors include his children, Tanya Langston and husband Richard of Kountze, and James Richardson Jr. and wife Katherine of McKinney; siblings, Royce Richardson of Whitewright, and Wayne Richardson of Houston; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
