Arnold Gill

Arnold Dewayne Gill, 76, of Buna, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023. He was born in Starks, Louisiana to the late Janie Perkins Gill and Johnny Gill. He worked for BNSF railroad for 39 years and then went to work for ECONOrail for 17 years before he retired.

Funeral service was Monday, July 24 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Silsbee with burial following at Antioch Cemetery in Buna.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Gill; children, Burton Gill and wife Jamie of Silsbee and Aaron Gill and wife Valerie of Beaumont; sister, Shirley Patenaude of Connecticut; brother, Reverend John Harris and wife Jerrie of Arlington; and 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
