Betty Jane (Elam) Young

Young age 78, died August 10, 2023. Betty was a native of Silsbee, Texas where she lived a full life as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Betty was preceded in death by her late husband Cecil Ray Young.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her five children: Othel Hadnot Jr., Beverly Harris, Shelia Thomas, Julia Matthews, and Cecilia Gilder. Betty also left the world a beautiful gift within her host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her services will be held on Saturday, August 19 at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Church of God in Christ in Silsbee, Texas. Under the direction of Robinson Funeral Home. Eternal rest will be at Kirby Cemetery in Silsbee, Texas.
