Bobby Joe Kilpatrick, 93, of Silsbee passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023. He was born on November 23, 1929 in Pleasant Grove, Texas to the late Berniece (Tots) Gibson and Holton T. (Doc) Kilpatrick.

Graveside service was Tuesday, November 21 at R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery in Silsbee under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee.

Bobby enjoyed many hobbies such as hunting and fishing. He loved his hunting dogs and in his earlier years, he enjoyed participating in rodeo, riding bulls, and racing horses. He was a longtime member of Freedom Fellowship Church in Silsbee. Bobby loved his church and church family. He actually served the church doing custodial work for nearly 20 years. Bobby married his wife, Patsy Ruth Jackson on October 2, 1949 and they had four children together. They were married for 67 years until the time of her passing in 2017. Bobby was a longtime employee of Haliburton but ultimately retired from South Hampton Refinery after many dedicated years. Bobby lived a long life full of joy, love, and adventures. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Patsy Ruth Jackson Kilpatrick; both parents; and one brother, Billy Ray Kilpatrick.

Bobby is survived by his daughters, Patty McDonald and husband Mike of Silsbee, Julie Kilpatrick of Kirbyville, Rose Hess and husband Danny of Silsbee; son, Shannon Kilpatrick and wife Julia of Silsbee; sister, Mary Lou Coronado of Lake Sowego, Oregon; grandchildren, Patrick, Kaytlin, Shannon, Ruth, Kathleen, Billy Joe, Betty, Helen, John, Karisa, Darrell Jr., Kristofer, Kristen, Matthew, Noah, Daniel, Madison; 47 great-grandchildren, 20 great-great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
