Bobby Yount

Bobby Ray Yount, 79, of Silsbee, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023. He was born in Silsbee to the late Hollis Ray Yount and Fay Collins Yount.

Funeral service was at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 29 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial following at RS Farmer Memorial Cemetery in Silsbee.

He was a United States Army veteran and a member of the VFW Post 1514 in Village Mills.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Whitmire Yount; children, Robert Yount and wife Carol of Kountze and Becky Parsons of Lumberton; sisters, Linda Davis and Doris Davies and husband Joe, all of California; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
