Charlie Standifird

Charlie David “Dave” Standifird, 85, of Spurger, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023. He was born in Webbers Fall, Oklahoma to Jim and Alma Standifird.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 18 at Riley Funeral Home in Woodville.

He lived in Spurger for many years and retired as a project manager for Brown & Root and then opened PaPa’s Welding Shop in Spurger. He was a member of the Masonic Snow River Lodge in Spurger.

Survivors include his wife, Carole Standifird; children, Michael Standifird, Rebecca Temple, and Randall Temple; brother, Billy Standifird; and 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
