Cheral Freeman

Florence “Janie” Mered-Cheral Darlene DuBose Freeman, 74, of Brookeland and a longtime resident of Lumberton, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Jasper to the late Kenneth DuBose and Paula Fern Harvey.

Funeral service was Saturday, March 25 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial following at Knupple Cemetery in Silsbee.

Survivors include her son, Arles Gene “Geneo” Freeman; brother, K.E. DuBose; and sister, Lindy Ruckel.
