Claxton Fowler

Claxton Earl Fowler, 81, of Lumberton, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023. He was born in Beaumont to Gwendolyn Pitts Fowler and Jefferson Earl Fowler.

Memorial gathering will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 4 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Silsbee. His committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.

He retired from Southern Pacific Railroad as a conductor after 40-years of service.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Patty Fowler, sister, Linda Sue Eaves and husband James of Lumberton; brother, Richard Fowler and wife Kathy of Kountze; and daughters, Jodi Hill of Lumberton and Jeanne Hill and husband Joe of Houston.
