Debra Kay McCleary, 59, of Kountze, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023. She was born in Kountze to Roxie Ioana Block Mc-Cleary and John Martin McCleary.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 29 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Kountze with burial following at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, July 28 at the funeral home.
She worked as a bus driver for Kountze ISD for many years and was currently employed with Lumberton ISD.
Survivors include her children, William Johnson of Kountze, Christina Chanek of Silsbee, and Roxanna Chanek of Kountze; mother, Roxie Wacasey of Kountze; brothers, Martin McCleary of Kountze, Donald McCleary and wife Stephanie of Hillister, and David Wacasey and wife Amanda of Kountze; sisters, Pam Gandy and husband Don and Dianne Anderson and husband Joseph, all of Kountze, and Lauren Lamborn and husband David of Woodville; and seven grandchildren.
